BIO
Hailing from the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming, Kyle Kulseth was basically destined for an adventuresome fate. To wit, he’s now a first-name regular at several bars and sandwich shops in his area. Eventually, he moved to Montana. Similar place, fewer cryptids (whatever they may tell you).
Starting in the mid-2010s, Kulseth turned his long-held love for stand-up comedy into participation, getting his start in the Homegrown Comedy scene in Missoula. Between 2016 and 2020, he toured around the Midwest, Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest, cutting his teeth at various road dog stops along the way. Since then, he has worked with such acts as Matt Braunger, Kyle Kinane, Amy Miller, Brooks Wheelan, Dave Stone and Reena Calm. In October of 2021, Kulseth was selected for and performed on the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, TX.
Kulseth’s onstage style is a blend of storytelling, oddball observation and humorous, deprecating takes on life. His material has also been described as "the deranged ravings of a rapidly deteriorating lunatic." Whatever suits your fancy on a Saturday night, eh? Drawing on influences like Matt Braunger, Kyle Kinane and Maria Bamford, Kulseth performs with a biting wit that is underscored by energy and joy."

“Kyle Kulseth is basically the most punk rock person I know. His unmatched DIY attitude has honed a performer of the highest level. I have known him as a comedian, promoter, and producer for more years than either of us can remember. Kyle excels in all of these roles.
He is a dedicated absurdist with a wry streak of chaotic glee aimed at his disappointment in the modern world. Onstage his quick wit and masterful storytelling reveal the heart of a writer. Backstage, his good nature and professionalism make him a welcome addition to any green room.”--Charlotte Macorn (Comedian)

"I’ve had Kyle Kulseth headline for my promotion, Revival Comedy, multiple times. Kyle’s comedy is friendly and warm, surreal and real, original and thoughtful. He’s high energy without being too much, and weird without being… too weird.
On the professional side, Kyle has a perfect record of being on time, getting his side of the job done, being kind, fair and friendly, and getting along with the other comedians, venue staff, and audience members. He’s a joy to work with and listen to, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly."--Sarah Aswell (Comedian, Writer & Media Critic; McSweeney's, Promoter; Revival Comedy )
